By definition is:

broken: (bro-ken) - to destroy or interrupt the regularity, uniformity, continuity, or arrangement of 
creations: (kre-a'shens) - original products of human invention or artistic imagination
de-sign: (de-zahyn) - something designed, especially decorative or artistic works

I (Ben) was about to graduate college and I needed a personal logo for my portfolio, so I was very "original" and decided to use BC for 'Ben Clapp' and Dezine because, well, I thought misspelling it was "unique". I was working on an After Effects project and had 'BC' fall and it broke on the word 'Dezine', which got me thinking of 'Broken'. Then I started thinking about the animation I was creating, which got me thinking about 'Creation'. Within a few moments I had Broken Creations Dezine in my head. Danielle had worked for a print center for 2 years as a desktop publisher and graphic designer. With her interest in designing, she suggested a plural 'Creations', because there were two designers. Until recently, we thought that's how we thought of the name.

After seeking a relationship with God, He showed us where the name came from. We realized that we are two broken creations that were designed by Him, for His glory. We now know that we were given these gifts to provide for our family and give glory to God. We know that not everyone has the same beliefs as we do, but we know God is our CEO.
